Hours of Operation: June 16 - Labor Day
Lap Swim 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. (Mon., Wed., Fri.)                                      Open Swim 11:30 a.m to 7 p.m. (Mon.-Sun.)

The NSF Indian Head Pool is open seasonally from Memorial Day through Labor Day. The Aquatics Center offers lap swim, open swim, and swimming lessons for all levels of expertise and ages. Other classes offered include aqua aerobics, life-guarding, and water safety instructor classes. The pool's deck space and small pavilion area make it an ideal rental facility for private parties and other functions.

Pool Passes
Active-Duty, Reservists, Retired Military, and their family members receive free pool access during the entire swimming season. Pool passes for DoD Civilians, government contractors, and their families and guests are available for purchase on-site. 

*Guest Policy: Limit of 2 guests per eligible patron

Private Pool Parties
It's the perfect place for your next birthday celebration, family reunion, or youth group outing. The pool is available for rentals from 7:30 to 11:30 p.m. (Mon.-Sun.)

Call to check availability and to schedule your next pool party! Bookings must be made at least two weeks in advance at the Weight House Fitness Center. 

Navy Youth Swim License Eligibility
To attain full access to the Aquatics facility, all youth ages 17 and under must successfully pass the Navy Youth Swim Test. Please contact the Aquatics Center at 301-744-4616 or the Weight House Fitness Center at 301-744-4661 for more information.

Making A Splash In Aquatic Safety!

Through SPLASH, Navy Fitness strives to educate parents and youth on pool safety and the dangers associated with unsupervised swimming. With structured swim lessons, professional swim skills assessment, safe play, and active parental supervision, the risk of accidental drownings can be significantly reduced.
